EARLY LIFE
Kenneth Chukwu was born in Isiala Mbano, Imo State, Nigeria. He studied Chemical Engineering at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). Even though he trained as an engineer, his passion for acting led him into the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in the early 2000s during the video film era.
CAREER
Kenneth Chukwu is a veteran Nollywood actor known for his versatility and ability to play different roles effectively. He has featured in over 140 films. Some of his notable movies include, Extreme Measure (2006), Extreme Measure 2 (2006), 40 Days in the Wilderness, God’s Money, Eagle’s Bride, Lost Empire, Dangerous Mission, A Lonely Star (2019). He is respected for not being stereotyped — he plays both comic and serious roles with ease. He has also appeared in popular soap operas like Living for Tomorrow, where he played the memorable character Teacher Zacheus. Kenneth believes in proper auditions and continuous learning. He remains one of the solid supporting actors who contributed greatly to the growth of Nollywood.
