EARLY LIFE
Before becoming a personal trainer, Kemen Ekerette worked at a hazardous company. He decided to embrace fitness to safeguard his health and found a new passion for it, transforming from being skinny to gaining weight and loving what it did for his body and mind.
CAREER
Kemen Ekerette is a certified master trainer and the Chief Executive Officer of Pure Fitness Africa. He participated in Big Brother Naija in 2017 to gain visibility and promote his fitness brand in Lagos. His notable achievements include changing people's lives through fitness, achieving financial security, employing people, and receiving awards and recognition for his work. He has trained several notable personalities including Timaya, Iyanya, Toni Tones, Beverely Naya, Nancy Isime, Oghenekaro Etebo, Kate Henshaw, Kaffy, and Hilda Bassey, who he trained in preparation for her Guinness World Record-breaking cook-a-thon. He appeared in Nollywood films including, Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demons (2018), Made in Heaven (2019) and 5th Floor (2017).
