EARLY LIFE
Lawrence Godwin Kingsley popularly alluded to as Kaptain Kush Is a Nigerian singer, rapper, songwriter and actor. Born on August 23rd in a commercial city in Nigeria, Lagos, he had his experiencing childhood in Shomolu and Bariga, Lagos. He began singing at the age of 8 while growing up in Lagos, Nigeria. He had his Primary and Secondary school Education in the same city he was born and raised and was later admitted into Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta where he pursued his Tertiary Level Education.
CAREER
In 2014, Kaptain Kush wandered into blogging as a way to help and reinforce his music profession. He was and still very much the brain behind one of Nigeria's leading music and entertainment blog TrendBaze Nigeria. In 2016, Kaptain Kush came out with a massively accepted and first official single "Kush Song" done on Nicki Minaj's Bed Of Lies instrumental. In 2017, Kaptain Kush released another single "Omalicha" featuring Alaye Proof. In 2020, after putting out several singles, Kaptain Kush dished out an Extended Play "Love and Breakup (L.AB)" which is currently receiving massive streams and garnering lots of positive reviews. Kaptain Kush has made acting and performance appearances in Love Story (2015), Merry Men 2 (2019), and Fighter (2019).
