PERSONAL LIFE
Jumoke Tychus is the brain behind the makeup brand Eyesome Beauty. She decided to lock her hair due to the bad effects of hair relaxers while growing up. She notes that having locs is much simpler in terms of lifestyle. She has experienced negative reactions from Nigerian society regarding dreadlocks, with people asserting that 'locs is not our culture.' She counters this by stating, 'What exactly is our culture? We have been adopting different cultures. If we leave our hair to grow, it turns into locs and there is nothing dreadful about it.'
