Biography
EARLY LIFE
Jude Okoye was born into the family of Mazi Moses and Josephine Okoye in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. He is the elder brother of the iconic Nigerian music duo P-Square, comprising Peter and Paul Okoye. Jude grew up alongside his siblings in a family that valued discipline and hard work. He attended St. Murumba Secondary School in Jos, where his love for music and the entertainment industry began. Jude pursued higher education at the University of Jos, where he studied Business Administration.
CAREER
Jude Okoye played an instrumental role in the success of P-Square. As the duo’s manager and executive producer, he was responsible for guiding their careers and negotiating deals that positioned them as one of Africa’s biggest music acts. Jude’s sharp business acumen ensured that P-Square dominated the African music scene for over a decade. He directed many of P-Square’s iconic music videos, including Personally, Do Me, and No One Like You. These videos showcased his exceptional skills as a director, setting new standards for music video production in Africa. After the split of P-Square in 2017, Jude established Northside Entertainment, a record label where he signed and managed artists such as Cynthia Morgan.
PERSONAL LIFE
Jude Okoye is married to Ifeoma Okoye, whom he wed in 2014. The couple has three children and resides in Lagos, Nigeria.
