Biography
EARLY LIFE
Jude Carmichael played basketball from a young age, including overseas in Spain and for England's U16 national team. He was scouted for modeling and later joined an all-black male theatre company. He studied acting and performance at university and attended workshops at Go Hub in South London.
CAREER
Jude Carmichael gained prominence with a leading role as the Nigerian teen 'Mark' in Skepta’s directorial debut film ‘Tribal Mark’. He has also appeared in a Google campaign and short film 'Afters'. He performed in a play at Peckham Theatre and Southwark Playhouse, and at the National Theatre in 'Dear England'.
PERSONAL LIFE
Jude Carmichael describes himself as outgoing and brings depth to his characters. He is dyslexic and employs a unique method of memorizing lines by getting them 'in his body'.
