EARLY LIFE
Joshua Enakarhire was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. His passion for storytelling began in his teenage years through creating and acting in drama presentations at church. He received intense training from an instructor with a thriving theatre career. He attended Ansar-ud-deen Secondary School, Surulere before pursuing higher education. Although he initially studied Electrical Engineering at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, he realized it did not align with his creative instincts and shifted toward acting and production. He gained early professional exposure by joining Jason Vision, a theatre company owned by the late Wole Oguntokun, where he performed at Terra Kulture. Growing up, he was influenced by classic Nigerian TV shows of the 1980s and 1990s such as The New Masquerade, Village Headmaster, Behind the Clouds, Checkmate, Third Eye, and Fuji House of Commotion. He later interned with renowned filmmaker Amaka Igwe, learning storytelling and TV production techniques.
CAREER
Joshua Enakarhire has built a versatile career in Nollywood, working in various capacities including assistant director, director, production manager, and producer. He has contributed to numerous high-profile television series and feature films. Career highlights include, Producer on Say Who Die (2025), Producer on The Fracture (2020), Producer on With Difficulty Comes Ease (2024), Producer on Thicker Than Water (2025), Co-producer or producer roles on projects such as Ms. Kanyin (2025), Finding Nina (2025), and others under Nemsia Studios.
