EARLY LIFE
As a child in the early years of boarding school in Nigeria, Jimeto Onyedika struggled to relate when friends discussed popular films like Harry Potter, The Matrix, Ocean’s Eleven, Osuofia in London, and Fuji’s House of Commotion. He often invented stories about non-existent movies to fit in. This experience sparked his deep love for cinema and storytelling, which became a personal escape and later shaped his creative path.
CAREER
Jimeto Onyedika is an emerging talent passionate about film and all aspects of storytelling. He has written and directed several short films, including, Sharp Guy (2026, psychological thriller), N.E.P.A (short film), The Last Sane Man in Lagos, tALKING sTAGE (2023, sitcom), Point & Kill (2022, thriller), Comment Section (2023), X n O (2022, crime thriller), Ake - the musical (2021, fantasy/satire/drama), James (2020, psychodrama). He has also acted in the short film The List playing a secondary school kid role, leveraging his youthful appearance.
