Biography
EARLY LIFE
Jide Alabi was born in Lagos, Nigeria, into a military family. His father was a soldier and his mother was a nurse in the army. He attended Army Children School for his primary education and spent part of his youth in Northern Nigeria, attending secondary school in Kano.
CAREER
Alabi began his career in the late 1980s, with his breakout role in the movie 'Golden Tie' (1989). He gained wider recognition through the popular soap opera 'Palace' in 1996. Beyond acting, he is a prominent broadcaster and sports presenter, having worked with major media houses including NTA, STV, LTV 8, AIT, and Brilla FM.
PERSONAL LIFE
He hails from Ogbomoso in Oyo State but identifies strongly with his Lagos roots. He is known to be family-oriented and has stated in interviews that he enjoys relaxing at home with his family. He holds a Master's degree in Project Management from the United Kingdom.
