Biography
CAREER
Jenny David is a Colombian film producer, with a Master's degree in Socio-Spatial Studies. She undertook a research residency in the Social Work program at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver. Since 2006, she has worked in documentary, animation, and fiction films as a producer, screenwriter, and director, combining creative practice, education, and curatorial work with a critical focus on territory and memory. She is a co-founder and partner at Cosmodrómo Cine, a production company based in Medellín.
CAREER
She is the director and screenwriter of 'El ocaso de las criaturas' (2023) and is the screenwriter and producer of the animated feature film 'Señor que no conoce la luna'. Her work also includes line producer for 'Barrio Triste' (2025) and 'Pepe' (2024), head of production on 'Meteorito', executive producer of 'Piedras Preciosas' and 'Vuelan Los Pájaros' (2021), and associate producer on the documentary 'Las pesadillas del siervo' (2025). She was also production manager on 'The Kings of the World' (2022) and field producer on 'Puentes en el mar' (2023) and 'Amparo' (2021).
