EARLY LIFE

Jack Loy is a British actor who grew up in the Birmingham area of England, specifically around Rubery and Longbridge. Before entering drama school and pursuing acting full-time, he worked in an office in Birmingham and also as a nightclub doorman. These earlier experiences gave him practical life skills and a grounded perspective that he has said helped him approach acting with clearer purpose compared to younger students who were still finding their path. He is notably tall at 6′ 4½″ (1.94 m). He trained as a professional actor in the UK and has built a career working in both British and international film and television.

Jack Loy is a trained British actor, director, writer, and producer known for work in film, television, and theatre. He has appeared in both British and international productions. Notable screen credits include Beautiful in the Morning (2019), King of Crime / Milk and Honey: The Movie (2018), Don’t Fight It (2020), Bite (2022), The Girl with the Metal Heart (2024), Mother’s Pride (2026), Chewing Gum (Channel 4/HBO), Coronation Street (ITV), The Capture (BBC), Doctors (BBC), Wild West Chronicles, Secrets, and Lala’s Ladiez. Loy joined the cast of the Nollywood film Jenifa's Diary. He has also worked in theatre, including the UK tour of the musical The Bodyguard (ensemble) and stage productions such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Chief Bromden), Dirty Dancing (Dr Jake Houseman), and other regional theatre work with companies including Leeds Arts Centre and SEDOS. In addition to acting, he has directing, writing, and producing credits, notably on the short film Don’t Fight It. He is represented on major platforms and continues to take on roles in film, television, and stage.
