Biography
EARLY LIFE
Isaac Newton Akah was born in Owerri, Imo State, and lived there until his early teenage years. He moved to Lagos for a holiday, and due to a rescheduled exam, he chose to stay and transferred to a private school, becoming a Lagosian. He later returned to the eastern part of the country for his tertiary education, studying computer science at the University of Nigeria.
CAREER
Akah started writing while trying to get a job after university and realized he enjoyed it. His first book, 'Living In Gidi,' a humorous account of life in Lagos, was published as an ebook in 2016 and later in print in 2018. His next book, 'Women We Know,' was published in 2017. He has also delved into audio storytelling, producing audiobooks like 'Bathsheba' and 'AT YOUR PERIL' (2020). He teaches screenwriting at a private film academy and ghostwrites.
