Biography
EARLY LIFE
Ingrid Lill Høgtun completed undergraduate studies in the U.S.A. at Diablo Valley College (DVC) and at the University of California Berkeley (UCB). She also studied Philosophy and Theatrical Science at the University of Oslo (UiO), Norway, and Film at the Institute of Film Science, Florence, Italy. She holds degrees in Business Administration and Management from the Norwegian School of Business (BI). She lived in Rome, Italy, for about 16 years.
CAREER
Ingrid Lill Høgtun is a Managing Director and Producer for BARENTSFILM AS and Producer for International Co-Productions for DUOfilm AS. She has co-produced and produced numerous international films, including the award-winning 'Essential Killing' (2010), 'Cactus Flower' (2017), 'Amal' (2017), 'You Will Die at Twenty' (2019), 'Costa Brava, Lebanon' (2021), and 'Day After…'. She also worked as an actress, assistant director, and in the production department for various projects since 1987.
