Biography
EARLY LIFE
Ibrahim Muhammed Gellesu, popularly known as Dandolon Zaria, was born and raised in Zaria, Kaduna State. He attended conventional schools in Zaria up to diploma stage. His acting career began in 1981 with stage drama at Barewa College.
CAREER
Ibrahim Dandolo is a well-known actor, singer, and producer in the Hausa film industry (Kannywood), which he joined in 2000. He is particularly recognized for his roles in Hausa comedy films and has starred in many productions. He co-established the Gyallesu production company with a childhood friend, Lawal Muhammad Gellesu, also known as Gundura. He is known for films such as Dan Birni (2016) and Wakili (2019).
PERSONAL LIFE
Ibrahim Dandolo is married and has two wives and children. Beyond his acting career, he is also involved in business, selling DVDs and other accessories from his shop in Kofar Doka, Zaria. He expresses a desire to be remembered as an individual who brings joy to people and as an advocate for social and economic change.
