Biography
EARLY LIFE
Hajarat Abiodun Alli obtained a B.A. in English Language Education from the University of Ilorin and an M.A. in Communication and Language Arts with a specialisation in Book Publishing and Development from the University of Ibadan. Her educational path has consistently prepared her for a career in storytelling.
CAREER
She completed a 12-week screenwriting course at the EbonyLife Creative Academy (ELCA), graduating on June 11, 2021, as one of its pioneers and the only Hijabi in her class. Her short film story, 'Monitoring Spirits', was among the six short films produced by the graduating students and exhibited at the ceremony. She is also an editor for Muslim News. Alli aims to correct wrong perceptions and tell Muslim stories through books, documentaries, and high-quality films for a general audience.
