George Joel

George Joel is an experienced Director of Photography and director with credits in both feature films and documentaries. His notable cinematography and directing credits include, Cold Calm (2020), Treachery (2017), Northeast (2016), Bandits (2017), Kishi (2017). He has served as Head of Production for the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) and is the Festival Director of the Young Lens Film Festival in Nigeria. The festival empowers young filmmakers and showcases diverse African stories globally. He is also involved in education and creative development in the film industry.
