Biography
EARLY LIFE
Gbolahan Peter MacJob was born in Nigeria. He had a happy childhood, studied at a private school, trained a lot, and received a black belt in karate. He is a descendant of the family which brought Catholicism in Nigeria. His uncle was a priest, and his grandfather built two schools in Africa in the 1950s, providing education to many poor children. His dad, who lived in Great Britain, also cared for children's education. After graduating from school, he entered the seminary, but later realized that this path was not for him.
CAREER
Peter MacJob moved to live in Great Britain to accomplish his dreams. He is a journalist at BBC, a comedian, actor, and book writer. He is also the founder of two social foundations. He is a qualified trainer of basketball, tennis, and boxing. He moderated the first hackathon of social innovation and business in Lithuania, 'ChangeMakers’ON'. He has received a proposal to lead a public institution in Nigeria in the future.
PERSONAL LIFE
MacJob's main desire is to change both his own and others' lives. He has a young son with autism, which became the main motive for him to help people with learning disabilities. He founded the 'Afristar Foundation Team', which aims to provide support and care for children with autism. He also established the 'Macjob Sport’s Foundation', which supports young talented African children in acquiring education and revealing their opportunities in sport. He rediscovered his faith in God during a visit to Lithuania. He returns to Nigeria twice a year and plans to begin the 'Afristar Foundation Team' project in Nigeria to organize training for parents and guardians who have children with disabilities.
