PERSONAL LIFE

He had two sons who followed in his footsteps as theatre arts practitioners: Kazeem Iyanda Olabankewin and Jamiu Olabankewin.

Dagunro passed away on June 13, 2019, in Osogbo at the age of 69 after a brief illness. His death was a significant loss to the industry, and he was buried the same day in accordance with Islamic rites.
