EARLY LIFE

Born in Edo State, Nigeria, on December 24, 1991, to a family of five children, Crazeclown is the third child. His father hails from Imo State, while his mother is from Edo State. Both his parents were pharmacists, a family background he has often humorously called a “double prince” lineage due to their respective royal family ties. Raised in a close-knit, supportive environment, Crazeclown expressed a deep attachment to his mother, often sharing personal anecdotes of their relationship on social media. His character “Papa Ade,” an exaggerated portrayal of an African father, became iconic, resonating widely across Nigeria and the diaspora. By 2015, Crazeclown had amassed millions of views across social media platforms and had one of the largest followings among Nigerian social media comedians. His relatable content and comedic style appealed to a wide range of followers, from youth to celebrities and politicians. Crazeclown diversified his career by launching Craze Productions, working on the TV series “House of Craze,” and collaborating with Victor O. Frank to produce more elaborate skits. He also organized “Common Sense,” a comedy competition with cash prizes, showcasing his dedication to engaging with fans and fostering talent. Crazeclown’s endorsement deal with NairaBet in 2016, reported to be worth millions, marked his expansion as a brand ambassador, adding to his status as a top influencer.

PERSONAL LIFE

Crazeclown married Jojo, his longtime girlfriend, in a private ceremony in 2021. The couple has one child together, and Crazeclown often shares glimpses of his family life with his followers.
