EARLY LIFE
France was born in 1941 in Kano and started his acting journey in 1960.
CAREER
He was famous for his roles in Domitilla (1996) and The Curfew (2021). He appeared in over 200 films, including Sakobi and The Snake Girl. He was notable for playing the role of an herbalist in Nollywood films as well as famous for his catchphrase ‘Tufancha,’ a word which he repeatedly used in the classic Nollywood film ‘Suicide Mission.’
Emmanuel France passed away on September 16, 2024.
