EARLY LIFE

Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekiru, widely known by his stage names Oga Sabinus, Mr Funny, and Mumu Man, was born on January 30, 1995, in Rivers State, Nigeria, into the family of Mr. Dennis Ejekwu. He hails from the Ikwerre tribe, one of the major ethnic groups in Rivers State. He was raised alongside his two siblings, Josephine Adaeze and Emmanuella Ejekwu, in a Christian household. From a young age, Sabinus exhibited a natural flair for humor, often entertaining friends and family with jokes and witty remarks. His unique ability to observe and exaggerate everyday situations would later become the cornerstone of his comedic career. Sabinus pursued his higher education at the University of Port Harcourt, where he studied Linguistics and Communication Studies.
