EARLY LIFE
Elvis Chucks started acting at a young age and studied Film and Television. His early career included appearances in television programs such as Beyond Gatherings, Doctor’s Quarters, Sweet and Sour, and Age of Paradise. He also played the lead role in Super Story’s One Bad Apple for three years.
CAREER
After completing his studies, Elvis Chucks transitioned into film production. He has starred in TV series like Forbidden and worked with notable producers such as Zeb Ejiro, Teco Benson, and the late Chico Ejiro. As a multiple award-winning filmmaker, he has achieved significant success, including three Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA). His film 'Jewel' won Best Movie Southern Africa in 2023, 'A Wish' won Best Movie Comedy in 2013, and 'All About Love' won Best Movie South Africa in 2017. His recent work 'American Dream' also received accolades at the New York Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Award, and was nominated for the American Black Film Festival.
PERSONAL LIFE
Elvis Chucks maintains friendships with those he knew before achieving stardom. He acknowledges that stardom has limited his ability to experience certain public activities freely, such as visiting places like Ajegunle or buying street food.
