Efosa Orobosa Japheth

EARLY LIFE

Born in 1988 into a struggling polygamous family, Efosa Orobosa Japheth developed an innate knack for humor. He was brought up in Benin City, the capital city of Edo State, Nigeria.

CAREER

He began his career as an MC in 2005 while still in secondary school, taking up the microphone at a wedding reception where the original MC failed. His performance garnered him numerous invitations for weddings, birthday parties, and corporate events. Known as Young Elder and Grand Comedian of the Federal Republic (GCFR), he has carved a niche with his unique genre of comedy focusing on children and families. He has collaborated with prominent figures in the industry and his content creation journey was mentored by notable creators. He has performed at stand-up comedy shows and plans to construct a nursing home for the elderly in Edo State and provide small business setups for vulnerable individuals. As an actor, he has appeared in Festive Fraud, Fake Alarm (2026), Area Command, and The Result of Wetin We Do Hide.
