EARLY LIFE
Donno Mitoma lived in Northern Ontario, Canada. In November 2014, while getting winter tires installed on his new car, a salesman asked if he would be interested in acting in a movie. This chance encounter led him to receive a script from a CD (casting director) and attend his first audition just six hours later. Despite having no prior acting experience or Japanese vocabulary for the role, he was booked as featured background in January 2015.
CAREER
Donno Mitoma began his acting career in 2015 with background and featured roles. He has appeared in several independent films and projects, including, The Last Assassins, Catering Christmas, Two Lovers and a Bear, and various commercials. He also had a role in the 2024 Nollywood film Orah, a Nigerian-Canadian crime thriller directed by Lonzo Nzekwe. The story centers on a Nigerian immigrant in Toronto and features a mix of international and Nigerian talent.
