Biography
EARLY LIFE
Don Brymo Uchegbu was born on 26 November 1966 into a Christian family, to Mr and Mrs Uchegbu from Enugwu-Ukwu, Anambra State, Nigeria. His mother's name was late Mrs Angelia Chinwe Uchegbu.
CAREER
Don Brymo Uchegbu started his acting career in the year 2000 when he joined Nollywood, the Nigerian movie industry. He acted in over 80 Nollywood movies, including "My Beloved Daughter," "Snake Battle," "Land of Fire," "No Mercy," "My God Never Sleeps," "Son Of Python", "Beast From The East", and "Ikemba". He worked alongside other top Nollywood actors and actresses such as Yul Edochie, Patience Ozokwor, Regina Daniels, Rita Edochie, Rita Daniels, Chioma Chukwuka, Nkechi Nweje, Prince Iyke Olisa, Ngozi Ezeonu, Destiny Etiko, Sam Obiago, Mercy Kenneth, Ebele Okaro Onyiuke, Harry B Anyanwu, Zubby Michael, and Chizzy Alichi. He was also a movie producer, scriptwriter, and singer, with a song titled "Mio Ni Gba".
PERSONAL LIFE
Don Brymo Uchegbu was married to Mrs Uchegbu and had children, including sons and daughters. One of his sons is Anyi EazyKayy, a musician. Don Brymo Uchegbu died on 15 June 2023 at the age of 56. According to one report, he slumped on a movie set in Ohada, was rushed to the hospital, and diagnosed with a partial stroke and high sugar level. He died a few hours after being taken back to Anambra State. Another report states he slumped in his hotel room in Port Harcourt after a movie shoot. His burial was scheduled for Friday, 25th August 2023.
