Biography
EARLY LIFE
Denilson Igwe was born on November 26, 1992, in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria. He was raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he completed his primary and secondary education. He is an orphan and was taken in by Mark Angel's mother. He stopped schooling early, in Junior Secondary School 1.
CAREER
Denilson Igwe began his comedy career around the age of 15 (circa 2007), inspired by comedian Uche Ogbuagu. In 2013, he co-founded Mark Angel Comedy, where he gained significant recognition, particularly for his portrayal of 'Pastor'. He departed from Mark Angel Comedy in 2019 to pursue an independent career, citing alleged financial exploitation. Since then, he has focused on creating content for his self-titled YouTube channel and is known for his bike rider and pastor series.
PERSONAL LIFE
Denilson Igwe maintains a private personal life. He is single and has a son. He emphasizes transparency and fair compensation in the creative industry. In August 2024, he revealed he had received death threats after speaking out about his past experiences with Mark Angel.
