EARLY LIFE
Dean Kilbey was born in London, England. After two years as a stand-up comic, he trained at the Artist Theatre School under respected British actress Amanda Redman, MBE.
CAREER
Dean Kilbey has appeared in numerous feature films, TV roles, and short films. Highlights include the lead role in the horror comedy 'Members Club' and 'Manfish', for which he won Best Lead Actor at the GenreBlast Film Festival in Virginia, USA. He has also appeared in BAFTA-nominated 'Lucky Break', BBC's 'Boiling Point', Netflix's 'Top Boy' and 'Supacell', Sky's 'Dreamland', Ridley Scott's 'All the Money in the World', and BBC's 'EastEnders', 'New Tricks', and 'Five Daughters'. He won the Best Actor Award at The Birmingham Film Festival in 2019 for the gritty drama 'The Edge' and was nominated for Best Actor at the Romford Horror International Film Festival in 2022 for 'Manfish'. He is also the lead in the popular online comedy mockumentary series 'In the Trade', which receives an average of 1 million views per episode. Dean has an impressive acting and vocal range, leading him to be considered for a multitude of both serious and comic roles. He also crossed over into Nigerian cinema by starring in the fantasy-horror feature A Song From The Dark.
