EARLY LIFE
David Cubitt was born on March 18, 1965, in England to a Dutch mother, Jette, and an English father, David. At six months old, he moved with his parents to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He studied acting at Studio 58.
CAREER
David Cubitt is an English-born Canadian television actor. He began his acting career in 1987. He starred in the Canadian series Traders and the American series Robbery Homicide Division. He is widely known for his role as Det. Lee Scanlon in the series Medium, appearing from season 1 until the show's cancellation after its seventh season. His film credits include Alive: The Miracle of the Andes (1993), The Perfect Son (2000), Ali (2001), Seventh Son (2014), Stonewall (2015), Shut In (2016), and American Woman (2019). He has also appeared in numerous television series such as 21 Jump Street, The X-Files, The Outer Limits, Michael Hayes, That's Life, The American Embassy, 10.5, 10.5: Apocalypse, Bates Motel, Ray Donovan, Van Helsing, Once Upon a Time, Supernatural, The Detail, Siren, Travelers, BH90210, Virgin River, Altered Carbon, The Good Doctor, Nancy Drew, Allegiance, Billy the Kid, Family Law, Fire Country, The Madness, Joe Pickett, Home Before Dark, Kipkemboi, and So Help Me Todd. He was also an executive producer for the film The Colossal Failure of the Modern Relationship (2015).
PERSONAL LIFE
David Cubitt is married to Karolina Cubitt since 2022. They have a child named Arabella Cubitt.
