EARLY LIFE
David Udenna, popularly known as David Cliq, was born on 8th April. He attended and graduated from Federal University Otuoke, where he studied English and Communications Studies. His university years helped shape his creative path in media and filmmaking.
CAREER
David Cliq is a new-generation Nollywood filmmaker and content creator. He is the founder and CEO of CliqStudios, a media company that produces short films, web series, and comedy skits. He has directed content for top Nigerian creators including Nasty Blaq, MC Lively, Lasisi Elenu, Nasboi, Iamdikeh, Ashmusy, Jenni Frank, and others. Notable works and credits include, Cellmate (2024), A Game of Chess (2022), Stand by Me (2024). Various YouTube releases such as Saving Christmas, Happy Ending, The Spark Between Us, Breakup Clause, Pretty Pretenders, and more, often featuring popular actors like Akwa Man, Modola, Layi Wasabi, Baaj Adebule, and Chidi Dike. He is active in both behind-the-scenes roles (directing, producing, cinematography) and occasional on-screen appearances. His YouTube channel serves as a major platform for his Nollywood-style short films and series.
