EARLY LIFE
Dave Chukwuji studied Communication and Language Arts at the University of Ibadan.
CAREER
Dave Chukwuji has spent half his life adventuring as a copywriter in some of Nigeria's foremost advertising agencies, including Macsell Associates, Rosabel, Centrespread, DDB, Insight, and Lowe Lintas. He has garnered experience working on brands like Michelin, Schweppes, Legend Extra Stout, Bournvita, Seaman’s Schnapps, Econet Buddie, Diamond Bank, Fidelity Bank, MTN, Celtel, Candia, Stallion Motors, Emzor, Star Lager Beer, Knorr, and Maltina. He occasionally writes screenplays, some of which have been produced in Nollywood, Nigeria's movie industry. He is also the author of the novel 'City of Gold and Rust', published in February 2017. He is currently a Creative Director at DKK Nigeria.
PERSONAL LIFE
Dave believes that the world is a playground and those who win are not necessarily those who outsmart everyone else but those who just love to play. He reckons that winning is a lot more fulfilling when you have also enjoyed playing the game. He loves the game. He loves to play. But above all he loves to win with a smile on his face. His true adventure was the writing of CITY OF GOLD AND RUST, after a searching journey to his heritage and culture.
