Daniella Utangbe Juli Peters was born on 27 September 1999 in Cross River State, Nigeria. She is a twin; her twin brother is Daniel Atabi Suleiman Peters (who is albino). She also has an older brother named Roosevelt Aruku Peters and a younger sister named Immanuella (or Imanuella) Peters. She has spoken positively about growing up in a large, close-knit family. She was raised in a Christian household. Her early years were relatively comfortable until her father lost his job, after which the family faced financial challenges. Her mother took on a greater role in supporting the household, and the experience taught Daniella resilience, the value of family unity, and perseverance. She has spoken about how both the comfortable and difficult periods shaped her outlook. She completed her secondary education at Word of Faith Group of Schools in Abuja before proceeding to EPS La Cite University in Cotonou, Benin Republic, where she studied International Relations and Diplomacy.
