Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Courage Chioma Okoli, daughter of a wildlife vet and journalist, inherited a love for the untamed and the dramatic. She developed a deep appreciation for storytelling early on and started writing poetry at 13, a passion she nurtured into adulthood. This unique upbringing fuels her fire for filmmaking, inspiring her to tell narratives that resonate with audiences. Excelling in debates, she represented her schools in nationwide competitions.
CAREER
Her acting debut came in 2015 as 'Wosilat' in 'Skinny Girl in Transit' by Ndani Tv during her Theatre Arts studies at University of Lagos. She gained recognition through roles in other shows like Unintentional, Mighty, My Flatmates, and The Johnson's. She has an artistic perspective, and as a media personality, she has a keen understanding of creative industry trends and excels in arts, media, communications, project management and business development. With a knack for absorbing knowledge, Courage has honed her skills through top-notch filmmaking masterclasses and is now a certified screenwriter and film producer. She is known for breaking barriers and setting new industry standards through innovative solutions.
