EARLY LIFE
Dr. Clarice Ford-Kulah is originally from Liberia, West Africa. Raised in New York, as a child, the theater was her life. She is a trained dancer and actress and has studied film and production extensively.
CAREER
Dr. Kulah is a college professor in Atlanta, Georgia, and owns a preschool in Lawrenceville. She co-owns a school and a performing arts school in Liberia, the latter catering to children with special needs and those from lower socio-economic areas. She taught at a Georgia Public School for over 14 years and serves as Youth Director and Dance Instructor at her church. She is the President of Divine Entertainment International, a full-service production company she founded with her late sister, Lydia Ford-Worjloh. She has produced and co-produced numerous films for the African movie industry and two for Hollywood, including 'Skinned' (which she also wrote), 'Providence', '30 Days in Atlanta', 'Paparazzi Eye in the Dark', 'When One Door Closes', 'Joni Waka', 'Scarred', and 'The Refugee'. She has managed phenomenal actors like Van Vicker. Her latest films, 'Enamored' and 'Providence', were in post-production (as of the article's writing).
PERSONAL LIFE
Dr. Clarice Ford-Kulah is a philanthropist and currently serves as the US coordinator for HealthPage Liberia Inc., an organization that airlifts medically ill children to other countries for medical care and surgeries. She aims to educate students in performing arts and save fragile and vulnerable children.
