EARLY LIFE
Clarence Abiodun Peters, born on 20 December 1983, is the son of Afro-Juju legend Sir Shina Peters and renowned actress Clarion Chukwura. His early exposure to the entertainment industry started at a young age, working unofficially on sets at 9 and officially at 13. He attended Beehive Primary School and Government College Ikorodu before studying cinematography at City Varsity, a film and creative arts school in Cape Town, South Africa.
CAREER
Clarence Peters is an award-winning Nigerian music video director, filmmaker, and cinematographer. He is the founder and CEO of CAPital Dream Pictures, a production company specializing in performing arts, film, and video. He is also the founder and CEO of Capital Hill Records, a record label that has supported artists like Chidinma, Tha Suspect, and Illbliss. Peters has directed iconic music videos for top artists including Wizkid, Darey, Durella, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, and Olamide. He was ranked 2nd on Channel O’s list of Top 10 Visionary Music Video Directors. His work spans various formats, including TV commercials, documentaries, short films, and TV series, such as directing 40 episodes of 'Everyday People'. In 2015, he directed the 25-minute horror film 'Hex'. In 2022, he directed the Netflix series 'Inside Life', further showcasing his directorial mastery on the global stage.
