Her early education began at Trinity International School in Kaduna, where she earned her high school diploma between 1993 and 1999. She later pursued higher education at Kaduna Polytechnic, studying Business Administration from 2002 to 2006. Before fully immersing herself in filmmaking, Chloe built a foundational career in community advocacy and social services, particularly supporting immigrants. Chloe Coko is a multi-hyphenate creative excelling in Film/TV Producing, Directing, and Screenwriting. She founded CHLOE COKO MEDIA, INC. and has built an impressive portfolio of award-winning projects that address critical social issues while celebrating African culture and history. Her work often explores themes of women’s issues, children’s welfare, banditry, terrorism, and the complexities of African societies, using storytelling to inspire, enlighten, educate, and advocate for positive change. Notable productions include the feature film Herdsmen (2022), which she produced and which faced death threats during filming due to its bold exploration of banditry and kidnappings in Northern Nigeria. The film aims to clarify that not all kidnappers are herdsmen and highlights the impact of terrorism, earning 22–23 award nominations at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival. Other key credits include Underbelly (available on Prime Video), The Takers (2021), Kada River, Last Factory, and Sunset in the North.
