EARLY LIFE

Like many Nollywood practitioners of his era, Chinedu Nwani entered the industry during the video film boom in the 2000s.

CAREER

Chinedu Nwani was active in Nollywood as an actor, writer, and producer. He served as CEO of Get Rich Production. His known credits include, Sound of Pain (2009), A Weeping Soul (2009), Who Loves Me? (2010), Throne of Tears (2008), Dry My Tears (2006), Powerful Civilian (2007), among others. He was involved in several straight-to-video films typical of the Nollywood industry in the late 2000s. He was respected as an icon and producer in the industry.

Chinedu Nwani sadly died in a car accident on November 5, 2011. His death came shortly after other losses in the Nollywood industry, causing widespread mourning at the time.
