EARLY LIFE

Chinaza Uche is a Scottish-born actor of Nigerian heritage who was raised with strong cultural roots. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, he later moved to the United States, where he pursued his passion for acting and theater. He trained at the prestigious New York University Tisch School of the Arts, graduating from the Experimental Theatre Wing and The Classical Studio. CAREER

Chinaza Uche is a talented actor, producer, and writer with a growing body of work in film, television, and theater. He gained early recognition for his lead role as Pius in the 2018 film Nigerian Prince, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and closed the Africa International Film Festival in Lagos. On television, he played the series-regular role of Henry opposite Hailee Steinfeld in the Apple TV+ comedy series Dickinson (2019–2021). He has also appeared in notable shows such as Silo (as Paul Billings), Fear the Walking Dead, Little America, The Blacklist, Law & Order, and others. In film, he starred as Nathan in Zach Braff’s A Good Person (2023) alongside Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman, earning a nomination for the Scottish BAFTA for Best Actor in a Film. Other film credits include The Devil Below, How to Rob, and Minyan. On stage, Uche has an impressive list of off-Broadway credits, including performances at the Manhattan Theatre Club, New York Theatre Workshop, Classic Stage Company, and the National Black Theatre. He was last seen in Clubbed Thumb’s Tumacho and has appeared in critically acclaimed productions such as Sojourners/Her Portmanteau and Sugar in Our Wounds.
