Chika Anadu was born in November 1980 in Lagos State, Nigeria. At 16, she moved to England, where she completed her 'A' Levels, earned a degree in Law and Criminology, and an MA in African Studies: Human and Sustainable Development. Her interest in directing as a career was solidified in 2006 during her National Youth Service Corps program in Nigeria after watching the Italian film Cinema Paradiso.
CAREER
Anadu returned to Nigeria in 2008, working in TV and Film production. She began writing and shooting her own short films in late 2009.
