Biography

EARLY LIFE

Cheng Okon Efiong-Fuller was born on April 15, 1980, in Calabar, Cross River State, southern Nigeria. His parents were Emmanuel Okon Efiong-Fuller, a celebrated academician, and Josephine Okon Efiong-Fuller, a lawyer who passed away in 1994. During secondary school, Fuller actively participated in debates, science competitions, and was a member of the school choir, Hope Waddell Glorious Voices. He later pursued a degree in Soil Science at the university, graduating in 2003.

CAREER

Fuller commenced his professional career in 2004 at KPMG, where he led teams in advisory services for various sectors including telecommunications, oil and gas, financial services, and consumer goods. In 2010, he joined DDB Lagos as Director, Strategy & Business, managing the MTN account, before moving to Insight Publicis as Associate Client Services Director. In 2012, he established his own Marketing Advisory services firm, Re’d’Fyne Business Solutions, which he later abandoned in 2014. In 2015, he became the pioneer Vice President of Marketing at Hubmart stores, where he oversaw the establishment and rollout of three additional stores. That same year, Fuller began his acting career, appearing as Barrister Taylor in the DSTV telenovela 'Tinsel.' He has since featured in other TV series like 'Frank's Teens,' 'Hotel Majestic,' 'Eve,' and 'My Flatmates.' His Nollywood film credits include 'Forlorn,' 'Badamasi: Portrait of a General,' and 'Drifted.' In December 2019, he was inducted into the Nigerian Institute of Management Consultants. In June 2019, he co-founded Pandemonium Pictures, an audio-visual production company involved in film and television projects and the development of an independent content broadcast platform. Under Pandemonium Pictures, he released the short film 'Endless' in November 2019, addressing domestic violence, and began production on the feature film 'The Three Ms' and TV series 'The Benjamins' in January 2020.

PERSONAL LIFE

On November 23, 2019, Cheng Fuller married Khemmie Owolabi in a private ceremony held in Lagos, Nigeria.
