EARLY LIFE
Dr. Olubukola (Bukky) George-Taylor was exposed to Public Relations from a young age through her mother, Nkiru Onyejekwe, who studied Theatre Arts and later obtained a Master's degree in Public Relations from Boston University. Her mother worked for Nigeria Airways as Assistant General Manager of Marketing and PR, and Bukky grew up watching media activities in her home. She attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where she became involved in organizations, writing articles and organizing programs which were PR related activities.
CAREER
Bukky George-Taylor is a seasoned strategic communications professional with two decades of experience. She is the Founder and CEO of Robert Taylor Media, one of Africa’s leading strategic communications agencies, specializing in corporate communications, sustainability communications, media relations, crisis management, reputation building, and special events. Her client portfolio includes multinational corporations, governments, and high-growth organizations like British Petroleum, American Express, META, Lagos State Government (department of Tourism), and Dubai Tourism. She founded her first agency, The Bobby Taylor Company, in 2007 in Winnipeg, Canada, which later evolved into Robert Taylor Media in Nigeria. She holds an Honorary Doctorate in Strategy and Communications from Myles Leadership University for her contributions to advancing communications practice in Africa. She is the author of the personal branding guide 'Born to Stand Out' and serves as Director of Strategic Partnerships at The Luxury Network Nigeria, Director at Lagos Today Newspaper, and sits on boards including Silver Lining for the Needy Initiative and Music Business Africa. She is also a member of The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and The Canadian Public Relations Institute.

She is influenced by her mother, Nkiru Onyejekwe, and emphasizes the importance of authenticity in personal branding.
