EARLY LIFE
Princess Brun Njua, born Brunhilda Njua on 26 January 1986, in Kom, Northwest Region, Cameroon. She was adopted into the royal family of Mejang-Kom, earning her the title of princess. The youngest in a large family, she started participating in church plays at age 13, sparking her interest in acting. At 14, she lost both parents in a motor vehicle accident, becoming an orphan. She later relocated to the United Kingdom for greater opportunities in acting and modeling.
CAREER
Brun Njua entered the entertainment industry by promoting French artists before transitioning to acting around 2008, debuting in the Nollywood blockbuster 'My Property'. She has appeared in at least 11 films across Nigeria, Germany, and the UK, often in comedic roles. As a producer, she created projects emphasizing African narratives, including the Ugandan love story 'Embaga Yange' and the thriller 'Red Handed' (both around 2015). Her 2016 production 'Slave Dancer' was a Nigerian-Cameroonian collaboration. Njua appeared on the British ITV daytime television series 'Judge Rinder' in 2015. She has collaborated with prominent African talents like Van Vicker, Patience Ozokwor, and Tchidi Chikere. She is based in Leicester, UK, and advocates for the growth of Cameroon's film industry.
