EARLY LIFE

Benneth Nwankwo (born 22 February 1995) is a Nigerian documentary photographer and film director. He is from Orumba North, Anambra State, Nigeria.

CAREER

Benneth Nwankwo is a Nigerian documentary photographer, talk show host, film director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and founder of BN MEDIA. He is best known for his films, including 'This Is My Story' (2020), 'Abuse of Rights' (2021), 'Like Filtered Water' (TV series 2021), 'Breakout' (2022), and 'A Place Between Colours' (2021). Nwankwo came into public eye in 2015 with his talk show, 'Straight Talk With Benneth'. In January 2020, he hosted 'Akaraka: Anambra Through A Lens', an indigenous photo exhibition in Anambra State. In October 2017, his photographs of a nine-year-old groundnut hawker gained significant public attention. In March 2023, Benneth Nwankwo was a speaker at TEDxUNIZIK.
