Barbara Anakwa

Barbara Anakwa is a Ghanaian actress, director, and producer best known for her work in African cinema. She has made significant contributions to the film industry across acting, directing, and producing, and has even received nominations such as the International African Achievers Merit Award. She has appeared in films such as If You Were Mine (2014) alongside Majid Michel, and the international star-studded film Loving Daniella (2017). Anakwa co-produced the 2013 movie Purple Rose, which earned a Best Picture nomination at the Ghana Movie Awards. She directed the 2017 film The Hero: Service to Humanity.
