Awoyomi Akorede

Awoyomi Akorede, popularly known as "Ibile," is a Nigerian filmmaker, director, and actor working in Nollywood. He has built a diverse portfolio as a creative professional, shifting between acting on screen and directing behind the camera. He directed the 2026 romantic drama series Interns with Benefits for Lady Laide Studios. He also served as the co-director for the short film The Last Sane Man in Lagos, which won the Best Actor (Male) award at the Independent Film Academy (IFA) Awards. As an actor, he has appeared in several Nollywood films and series. His acting credits include The Fire and the Moth, Stranded, Jankariwo, and Atona. In addition to directing and acting, he has worked behind the scenes as a production manager on project sets like Ballerz (The Series).
