EARLY LIFE
Annika Álofti born Annika Jensina Sniálvsdóttir á Lofti grew up in The Faroe Islands. A small group of islands that are part of the Danish kingdom. Annika studied acting in Berlin and later graduated from Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2010. Annika continued her studies in Los Angeles and later in London where she now lives.
CAREER
Annika Álofti is an actress with credits in both international and Nigerianfilm projects. She has appeared in several Nollywood productions, contributing to the industry’s growing international collaborations. Her involvement with Nollywood includes roles that bridge European and African storytelling, allowing her to work alongside Nigerian filmmakers and cast members. Her filmography includes various appearances in projects that span different genres. She has also been featured in Chinese film databases, indicating broader international exposure beyond Nollywood and European cinema. She played the role of Chloe in the 2014 historical epic Invasion 1897. Directed by veteran Nollywood filmmaker Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, the film depicts the deposition of the Oba of Benin by British colonial forces.
