EARLY LIFE
Andrew Boateng holds an MA in TV Fiction Writing from Glasgow Caledonian University, where he was honored with the Warner Media Scholarship, and an MA in Creative Writing from London Metropolitan University.
CAREER
His writing has been recognized at the Edinburgh TV Festival's New Voice Awards, where he won the Best Test Card Pilot, and he was also shortlisted for the 2020 Red Planet Prize. His works are noted for their depth and cultural nuance, underscoring his dedication to authentic storytelling. As an actor, he appeared in Abraham Adeyemi's 'Chasing the Night' (Film4) alongside Sope Dirisu and Deborah Ayorinde, and in Comedy Central's 'Dating Horror Stories' Episode 2.
