Biography
EARLY LIFE
Amaka Chukwujekwu was born on October 6 in Anambra State, South Eastern Nigeria. She attended Willem Nursery and Primary School for her elementary education. She developed an interest in acting during her secondary school years, participating in stage plays and drama. She later pursued and completed a degree in Crop Science at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO). She is currently based in Lagos.
CAREER
Amaka Chukwujekwu entered the Nollywood industry with a breakthrough role in Grave Dust, which brought her significant recognition. She has since featured in several films and productions, often taking on emotionally resonant roles. Notable credits include, Grave Dust, 30 and Single (2020), Chance at Love (2021), and other productions such as Nightmare at Dusk. In addition to acting, she works as a producer and runs Amaswiss Films. She is recognized for her contributions to storytelling in Nollywood.
