EARLY LIFE
Alex Oturu born in Lagos in the early 1980s, he is one of the children of Bishop Mark and Reverend Kate Oturu.
CAREER
Alex Oturu is a multi-talented Nigerian migration management specialist, musical recording artist, and singer-songwriter. He serves public roles in federal humanitarian efforts and the Nigerian gospel music industry. He is the Assistant Director and Southwest Zonal Coordinator of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI). He coordinates the Lagos Reintegration Committee, overseeing state-level frameworks for returning Nigerian migrants. Alex Oturu made his acting debut in Run (2019).
PERSONAL LIFE
Alex Oturu was previously married to award-winning Nigerian gospel artist Nikki Laoye from 2011 until their amicable separation and divorce in late 2018.
