Adesola Oni

Adesola Oni is a prominent Nigerian independent filmmaker, writer, and director based in Lagos, Nigeria. He is widely recognized for his leadership within the local independent cinema community and his creative media direction. He has written and directed several short films, including the well-received short film Gbese (2022) and Conversations from the Past (2024). He serves as the Head of Operations, co-curator, and show-runner for Indieview Lagos. This philanthropic short film curation platform hosts monthly screening events in Lagos to give independent filmmakers visibility and feedback. He works as a Creative Director at Ghost Media Productions. His background also includes creating web and television content for major brands across Nigeria and Ghana, alongside past production and writing roles with media hubs like Kraks Media. He holds a Master of Environmental Design in Architecture from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
