EARLY LIFE
Adebukola Oladipupo was born in London, the United Kingdom, to Adeleke and Remilekun Oladipupo. She has two siblings and received her primary education at Bellina Nursery and Primary School in Akoka, Lagos. For secondary education, she attended Babcock High School and Caleb International School (both in Lagos). She pursued Management Information Systems at Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, where she also explored drama courses. Her interest in acting was sparked during a church service at Covenant University, when her pastor encouraged her to transform her talents into skills.
CAREER
Adebukola Oladipupo is a Nigerian actress who made her first acting debut in 2015 with MTV Shuga, landing the role of "Faa" in its first season. In the same year, she was featured in Indigo (season 1), Inevitable, and The Other Me. In 2016, she was featured in Heads Over Heals and also starred in the TV series This Is It, playing the character "Folake". With her unique ability, she was able to play two roles, "Ashake" & "Tolu", on a stage play "ITAN”. She is also known for her roles as Amara Obosi in Mums at War, Tiara aka BOJ in The Men’s Club season 2, and Laraba in African Magic’s Truce. Bukola Oladipupo continued her role as "Faa" in MTV Shuga when it evolved into a nightly mini-series called MTV Shuga Alone Together in April 2020. This series focused on highlighting the challenges posed by the Coronavirus pandemic. The show aired for 60 nights and received support from organizations like the World Health Organization. The series spanned multiple countries including Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, and Côte d'Ivoire, with the story unfolding through online conversations between characters. Notably, the actors themselves filmed the series, and the cast included other talents such as Jemima Osunde, Lerato Walaza, Sthandiwe Kgoroge, Uzoamaka Aniunoh, and Mohau Cele. She attributes her success to media mogul Mo Abudu, who instilled self-belief in her.
PERSONAL LIFE
Friends and family describe Bukola as someone who cares about her career and enjoys sharing the gospel to inspire people. She is inspired by Mo Abudu, who made her believe in herself and that women can succeed in the entertainment/media industry regardless of circumstances. Bukola's dream is to integrate Nollywood and Hollywood. She also has aspirations to go into business and is training herself in that area, believing in the importance of self-training and hard work even without innate talent. Furthermore, she wants to be a scholar, read, meet new people, visit different places, and learn about new cultures. Her hobbies include acting, singing, playing dress-up, sleeping, and being alone in her comfort zone.
